In this article, I’m sharing the recording and resources from the Prototyping AI Experiences workshop.
About the Workshop
I hosted an in-person workshop in the Bay Area on prototyping AI experiences—focusing on how designers and non-technical founders can turn ideas into interactive products using tools like Play and Lovable. We kicked off with intros and icebreakers, followed by Gladys sharing more about Beta University and how they support founders.
The heart of the workshop revolved around what prototyping means in the AI era—it’s about speed, clarity, and learning through iteration. We explored how AI is shaping new interaction patterns, especially multimodal experiences, and did hands-on exercises to build prototypes around real-world problems like water intake reminders. I also shared examples, including an AI mentor app I built in an afternoon, and introduced tools that help you create realistic, functional products—no code required.
Creating AI apps with play deep dive - Part 2 coming up next
I’ve received multiple requests to do a hands-on workshop diving deeper into Play’s capabilities—we’ll be exploring that soon. Stay tuned and keep an eye on Luma and the Substack chat for updates.
